How Dan’s Legal Background Applies to Your Case

A wide range of experience in different types of cases enables Dan to think differently about criminal cases.

If you have been charged with a crime, you will have many, many options as to which criminal attorney to trust with your case. While at first you might think it is in your best interests to hire a career defense attorney, it’s quite possible that a lawyer who has dedicated their entire career to criminal matters may be feeling tired, jaded, and uninspired by this point. They may be so accustomed to doing things a certain way that they don’t see all the possible legal strategies that may apply to your case.

When you chose an experienced attorney who has recently rededicated himself to criminal law, however, you are guaranteed sophisticated arguments and aggressive representation from a professional who is deeply passionate about his job and truly cares about your case. This is exactly what you get when you hire Dan E. Chambers as your criminal defense attorney.

Understanding Dan’s Legal Background

Dan E. Chambers has a wealth of experience in the legal world thanks to a varied career spanning over 20 years of law practice.

He began his career with 6 years as a prosecutor in Los Angeles County. During this time he tried over 75 felony cases to verdict, including death penalty cases. He also handled misdemeanor cases. This experience has given Dan a different insight into issues of evidence collection & admissibility, jury selection, procedural requirements, plea offers, etc. than your average criminal defense attorney may have. Dan understands from experience—not theory–how the prosecution builds a case, and this understanding allows him to identify the best ways to attack the prosecution’s case when defending his clients.

After working as a prosecutor, Dan spent 15 years in civil practice litigating highly intense, complex issues in many different areas of law. He worked for several different highly regarded law firms, refining his understanding of how to develop evidence and precedent into effective and sophisticated legal arguments. Now, in his criminal practice, he is able to use this same highly analytical mindset to make sure every possible legal argument is explored for his clients’ defense.

A few years ago, Dan decided to retool his practice so he could apply his legal skills to an area he is passionate about, namely criminal defense. He is proud to have helped numerous clients secure favorable outcomes to their cases and to have won Avvo Clients’ Choice Awards in both criminal defense and DUI defense.
